Please join Withum’s Joe Riccie and ICAEW member Graham Kitching from Practus Advisors, as they discuss the current state and outlook for the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function within an organization. They will start by identifying current issues such as the gap in the process; unmet needs; and talent/labor shortages and then will explore solutions for the future such as modernization and best practices.
For this event we are partnering with the Institute of Chartered accountants in England and Wales and focusing on the impact and potential outcomes of the current global energy crisis. How this is impacting us, what is likely to happen next and what can be done about it.
The panellists will examine modern slavery reporting practices.

In this session Declan Scott BSc (Mgmt), MA, FCA explores the definition of resilience followed by insights from the latest research. Resilience Institute tracked 23,990 professionals over two years to discover which skills and practices support the highest performers. Of the 60 factors measured, five are most impactful. It is clear that in order to be resilient, high performance requires care for self and others.

In this session Guido van Drunen, will lead participants through the need for benchmarks. You will learn to identify the risks that are inherent in benchmarks, their design, their use as a measurement and performance management tool, the gaming of benchmarks, and the monitoring of those benchmarks. The presentation will touch on real-life examples where poorly designed benchmarks did result in aberrant outcomes. It will also suggest how to better develop and monitor benchmarks.
