St George’s Society
Since its founding in 1770, St. George’s Society of New York has given aid to hundreds of thousands of New York’s most vulnerable. While its charitable giving has evolved over time, its purpose remains the same: to help people in need. Today, its charitable programming is focused in three areas:
- Beneficiary Program – financial and quality of life support to vulnerable seniors
- Scholarship Program – financial aid and professional development to low-income final year students
- Weatherstone Families Support Fund- assistance to families affected by pediatric cancer traveling to New York for life saving treatment
Circular Economy
The core principle of Circular Economy is generating growth without consuming finite resources or producing waste. By design, these practices benefit businesses, society and the environment by reintegrating waste back into the value chain. This new model encompasses principles based on the 7 R’s, designed to bring about sustainable action. Our mission is to unite central principles, skills and strategies under a single, universally recognized certification. The certificate has been established to bridge the gap between skills and facilitate the definition and identification of circular economy expertise across industries.
