In this session Declan Scott BSc (Mgmt), MA, FCA explores the definition of resilience followed by insights from the latest research. Resilience Institute tracked 23,990 professionals over two years to discover which skills and practices support the highest performers. Of the 60 factors measured, five are most impactful. It is clear that in order to be resilient, high performance requires care for self and others.

In this session Guido van Drunen, will lead participants through the need for benchmarks. You will learn to identify the risks that are inherent in benchmarks, their design, their use as a measurement and performance management tool, the gaming of benchmarks, and the monitoring of those benchmarks. The presentation will touch on real-life examples where poorly designed benchmarks did result in aberrant outcomes. It will also suggest how to better develop and monitor benchmarks.

The CAW USA Network – New York chapter invites you to a ‘Summer Cheese and Wine evening' on Thursday August 17th. Our hosts, the Siegfried Group will provide the venue and charcuterie for the evening. We plan to share in a fun evening of networking, wine tasting and discussing leadership concepts. We encourage members attending to bring a bottle of their favorite summer beverage and invite others in their network (there is no charge for your guests if you bring a bottle of wine). The event is free of charge for all members.

On Wednesday September 20th, we can combine English Pub Grub, and Asian Illuminations by meeting at the Bull and Bush Brewery, 4700 Cherry Creek South Drive, Denver 80246 at 19.00 to enjoy some food and one drink courtesy of CAW Network USA (additional drinks are on your own). Then move over to Four Mile Historic Park (half a mile away) to enjoy Asian illuminations in a 12 acre park until 22.00.
