In this session Declan Scott BSc (Mgmt), MA, FCA explores the definition of resilience followed by insights from the latest research. Resilience Institute tracked 23,990 professionals over two years to discover which skills and practices support the highest performers. Of the 60 factors measured, five are most impactful. It is clear that in order to be resilient, high performance requires care for self and others.

In this session Guido van Drunen, will lead participants through the need for benchmarks. You will learn to identify the risks that are inherent in benchmarks, their design, their use as a measurement and performance management tool, the gaming of benchmarks, and the monitoring of those benchmarks. The presentation will touch on real-life examples where poorly designed benchmarks did result in aberrant outcomes. It will also suggest how to better develop and monitor benchmarks.
In conjunction with CAW Network USA, BDO USA's IFRS experts will provide updates on recent developments in relation to IFRS, continuing our tradition of providing an easy way for financial management, board directors, and audit committees to stay on top of today's hot topics.
