ICAEW member Maarten Hensley was instrumental in starting the New England Culinary Arts Training organization in 2009/10. It is a non-profit that empowers adults facing barriers to employment through culinary education. They are located in Boston and their mission is to train catering staff. They have cumulatively graduated over 66 cohorts since 2013.
At our event we will have a tour of the facility, a brief talk from NECAT staff, followed by catering provided for us by Chef Q and his team. Drinks tickets for alcoholic (wine, beer, cocktails) or non-alcoholic beverages will also be supplied. Light networking games and optional activities will make it easy to meet new people and spark great conversations.
Members in good standing with ICAEW, ICAS, Chartered Accountants Ireland, SAICA and CAANZ, as well as any paid up associates $25. members of other CAW institutes, CPA Canada or Guests $55.
