CAW Network USA invites you to attend this exciting online event, hosted by David Powell, ‘The Do’s and Don’ts’ of networking.’ This event looks at three aspects of networking with a goal of providing insights and strategies that you can consider for your networking success.
In the first session, David Freeman will cover getting the most out of networking at events.
In the second session of the event, Nancy Chakabuda will cover ‘effectively building a personal brand’.
In our final session Veronica Beilby will discuss how to get the most out of Linkedin and social media in general.
The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session with the three presenters.

Session 1:
- How to identify and select networking events
- Steps to prepare yourself for the event
- Techniques to engage and leaving lasting impressions
- What to do about post-event follow up
Session 2:
- Define a personal brand – where do you start with defining what you want your personal brand to be.
- Build or develop a credible personal brand – practical steps.
- Portray the benefits of building a personal brand beyond your work or organization.
Session 3:
- Discuss the importance of social media in networking.
- Compose a brief one to one connection message.
- Recall the benefits of following #s and reposting articles on LinkedIn.
