Three of our members will each present a short talk on what they know best – their businesses and themselves!
- Lewis Sharpstone – ICAEW – Los Angeles. Lewis is principal of his own boutique CPA firm specializing in servicing nonprofits. He also conducts seminars and teaching activities in his chosen specialties which include board advisory services. Lewis graduated from University of Manchester, is a CPA and a Fellow of ICAEW.
- Gavin O’Reilly – SAICA – Orange County. Gavin articled with Ernst & Whinney in his native South Africa before moving to the USA where he joined PwC as a an integrator for SAP installations. More recently he and an associate formed EPM Tech, Inc. an IT service company providing printing support to major health institutions. He has two grown daughters and has learned to sail in his spare time.
- Hugh Judge – ICAS – San Diego. Hugh is our very own Octogenarian. Hugh grew up in Edinburgh and studied French and German alongside English, Math and Science at George Watson Boy’s College. After articles with John M. Geoghegan & Co, he utilized that learning to embark on a career in finance that took him to France, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, London, and several locations around the USA. Hugh is in his 58th year as a Scottish CA.
