Let’s face it – 2020 has been a tough year. Many of us have been working from home now for over 8 months while still managing the challenges and demands of our busy roles. For some, this prolonged period away from the normality of the office may have started to take its toll on our mental well-being, especially as the dark mornings and evenings have crept upon us.
With this in mind, and knowing that the “January blues” can impact us all further, the YPG committee wants to support our members and thanks to our sponsors VANRATH, we’re delighted to offer a series of two webinars focusing on how we can look after our own mental wellbeing and build and maintain resilience.
In the first session of the series, we will be joined by BBC NI sports presenter, Stephen Watson, who will share his story about his highs and lows throughout his kidney transplant journey and how he managed to keep positive throughout.
We will also be joined by Elizabeth Welty, co-founder and teacher at Flow Yoga Belfast. With her many years’ experience as a yoga instructor and bringing her own inimitable and playful style, she will be sharing some practical advice and methods for cultivating positivity, mental grit and reducing stress.
As we start out 2021, we hope our members will find this to be a positive and inspiring series. The sessions will be run via Zoom and are free of charge
A recording of the webinars will be made available to all those who book a place
