Gender Diversity Matters

Closing the gender gap in technology

A quote by  Bianca Sparacino  succinctly supports the purpose of our morning’s conversation –

“You are allowed to take up space. Own who you are and what you want for yourself. Stop downplaying the things you care about, the hopes you have. Own your passions, your thoughts, your perceptions. Own your fire. Stop putting your worth in the hands of others; stop letting them decide your value. Own saying no, saying yes. Own your mood, your feelings. Own your plans, your path, your success.”

It is important to ensure that all industries are suitable represented and technology has been one of those that has been lagging as it relates to female representation.

Hear from women in technology and technology entrepreneurs who discuss amongst other topics, the importance of transforming the technology sector, developing female technology entrepreneurs and female leaders in technology based organizations as well as the females in technology landscape

If you are a female in technology or considering moving into the industry or getting an understanding of what is happening in this space regarding transformation, this session will be of value to you.
