You’re Invited. BABC New England invites CAW Network USA members and associates to join them in Celebration of the 250th Anniversary of America at the Federal Reserve Roof Garden.
BOSTON TEA PARTY: Celebrate America 250 with a playful Boston Tea Party—tea, cocktails, camaraderie, and a historic transatlantic toast.
It has been 250 years since a certain… let’s say misunderstanding… regarding our favourite caffeinated beverage. To celebrate America 250, the British are crossing the pond once again (and quite a few have been here for a while) to host a historic do-over (to borrow a phrase from our colonist friends).
Please join BABC for an evening of trans-Atlantic camaraderie, brilliant conversation, and stunning views as we raise a cup (and perhaps a glass) to two and a half centuries of American independence!
The Details:
- Venue: The Roof Garden at the Federal Reserve, Boston (Rain or shine)
- Date & Time: July 14, 5:30 pm – 8: 30 pm
- Program: Formal program 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm, including the flag ceremony
- Dress Code: Smart Casual (Powdered wigs, ladies’ hats optional, but highly encouraged)
- Provisions: A curated selection of fine British Teas, alongside a generous offering of “other beverages” for those who prefer something a bit stronger, plus a selection of British Tea Party inspired food.
To secure your entry to the Roof Garden, attendees are kindly required to pay the official Tea Tax (Admission Fee: $65 per person + booking fee), following the directive of the 1765 Stamp Act.
The harbour is perfectly safe tonight, our Red Coats have agreed to Lay Down Their Arms and we kindly ask that all tea leaves remain securely inside the Federal Reserve to prevent any more ‘hiccups’ in our great relationship!
We have a special gift for each attendee! In return for paying the Tea Tax, attendees will be given a free personal membership of the BABCNE until the end of 2026, www.babcne.org to provide you with Representation – see what we did there?!
We look forward to an evening celebrating the enduring alliance, thriving business connections and shared biotech innovations between our two great nations. This event is kindly sponsored by Edward Jones LEK Wolf Greenfield
