CAW Network USA’s David Powell interviews Gordon Cowie, Founder and Chairman of Trustees – Friends of Sick Children in Malawi and founder member of ACAUS.

Gordon Cowie found himself in New York City in 1982, working with Roger Musson, the second president of ACAUS. While he dedicated much of his time and expertise to the organization, he simultaneously explored a variety of paths in his professional career. In 2007, Gordon became involved with Birmingham Specialist Children’s Hospital, at which time he was asked to advise on a project in Malawi. After a trip, some research, and lots of networking, Gordon and his wife began their long term commitment to working with Friends of Sick Children in Malawi.

CAW Network USA’s own David Powell sat down with Gordon to discuss his career path, his history with ACAUS/ now CAW Network USA, and the results of his work in Malawi. Watch some highlights from their conversation below.
